Job Title: Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Officer

Key Responsibilities
The SHE Officer will be responsible for:
- Enforcing company Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
- Providing daily guidance, training, and support on safety and environmental programs at all organizational levels.
- Identifying workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations while ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
- Monitoring contractor and subcontractor compliance with safety requirements and safe work practices.
- Developing, reviewing, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), emergency preparedness plans, and safety procedures.
- Coordinating regulatory inspections, permits, and environmental compliance reporting.
- Leading safety training programs, emergency response initiatives, and risk assessment activities.
- Maintaining accurate SHE records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and supporting or leading the Safety Committee.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety culture and environmental performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management.
- Agricultural background and/or management qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
