The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced exciting scholarship opportunities for Tanzanian students wishing to pursue Master’s degree studies in the Arab Republic of Egypt for the 2026/2027 academic year. The scholarships are being offered by the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Egypt Agency for Partnership for Development (EAPD) and will be tenable at the British University in Egypt (BUE).
Scholarship Fields of Study
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to pursue Master’s degree programmes in the following fields:
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Political Science and Business Administration
- Nursing
- Medicine
- Arts
- Tourism and Hotel Management
- Energy
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants seeking admission to the Master’s Degree programme must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.8 or an equivalent academic performance.
- Be below 26 years of age as of 1 January 2026.
Required Application Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- Certified copy of birth certificate.
- Certified copy of the biodata page of a valid passport.
- Certified copies of academic certificates and transcripts, including certified English translations where applicable.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Recommendation letters from previous academic referees.
- Personal Statement (Statement of Purpose).
- Proof of English language proficiency through internationally recognized examinations such as IELTS or TOEFL, unless the applicant completed previous studies in English-medium institutions.
Medical Fitness Requirement
All applicants must submit a medical report confirming that they are free from infectious or communicable diseases.
